📋 About This Mod

Description:

Adds dyeable, upgradable alternatives to regular Witcher chest armor, based on the Redanian Halberdier's and Oathbreaker Armor models.

Does not replace normal Witcher gear.

Comes in two versions: Regular and Bagless (see screenshots).

When installed, the new items will appear in your crafting menu, and can be crafted just like regular Witcher chest armor at the appropriate artisans.

Alternatively they can be spawned with the debug console using the commands in the following spoiler:

The Witcher chest armors in the game are numbered from zero (or more specifically nothing) to 4, while other Witcher gear is numbered from 1 to 5.

I chose for the sake of ease of file editing on my end to preserve this inconsistency.

Thus, the following codes spawn each new chest armor, in order of armor tier:

Feline:

additem('Lynx Surcoat')

additem('Lynx Surcoat 1')

additem('Lynx Surcoat 2')

additem('Lynx Surcoat 3')

additem('Lynx Surcoat 4')

Griffin:

additem('Gryphon Surcoat')

additem('Gryphon Surcoat 1')

additem('Gryphon Surcoat 2')

additem('Gryphon Surcoat 3')

additem('Gryphon Surcoat 4')

Ursine:

additem('Bear Surcoat')

additem('Bear Surcoat 1')

additem('Bear Surcoat 2')

additem('Bear Surcoat 3')

additem('Bear Surcoat 4')

Wolven:

additem('Wolf Surcoat')

additem('Wolf Surcoat 1')

additem('Wolf Surcoat 2')

additem('Wolf Surcoat 3')

additem('Wolf Surcoat 4')

In New Game Plus these commands will give the Legendary versions of the armor, just like vanilla witcher gear.

To obtain non-legendary versions, prefix the item ID with "NGP " (so for instance additem('Lynx Surcoat') becomes additem('NGP Lynx Surcoat')).

*In New Game Plus these items must be prefixed with "NGP " (so for instance additem('Wolf Surcoat') becomes additem('NGP Wolf Surcoat')).

Not prefixing them will give the regular, non-legendary versions.

This is in accordance with quirky vanilla behavior, take it up with CDPR.
