PREFACE:

This is a redux / overhaul of one of my first mods: Universal Grandmaster Set Bonuses.  I initially only made the mod because of a request, with no intention

of using it.  Then I got a comment suggesting that I should remake the

mod, but add a menu system where you can toggle bonuses on and off...

Honestly, that seemed way out of my skill level initially -- but as it

turned out it was pretty damn easy.  Because of how easy it was

(compared to making my last mod, Combat Hud Redux), I decided to add additional sliders and options that allow you to

modify the bonuses even further, but keep in mind I didn't add

modifications for ALL bonuses, just the ones that were easy and straight

forward to modify.

INSTALLATION:

(1) Drop the "modUniversalSetBonusesRedux" folder into the "mods" folder in your Witcher 3 directory.

(2a) Drop the "bin" folder into your Witcher 3 directory.

(2b) If you're paranoid like me, copy and paste the "UniversalSetBonusesMenu.xml" file into your "..\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\" directory.

(2c) Add UniversalSetBonusesMenu.xml; to your dx11filelist.txt/dx12filelist.txt or the menu won't show

(3) Use the Witcher 3 Script Merger to find & fix any conflictions.

(4) READ THE NOTES DOWN BELOW!  Could potentially fix an error for some.

Menu Step by Step:

If you use the dx11 version of the the game for example do this after

making sure UniversalSetBonusesMenu.xml is in the correct folder (/The Witcher 3\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc)

• []open dx11filelist.txt in notepad (in the same folder above)

  []add this line exactly as it is to the bottom of the list

so it will look like this in the file

gameplay.xml;

hidden.xml;

localization.xml;

display.xml;

graphicsdx11.xml;

UniversalSetBonusesMenu.xml;

If you don't do this the menu won't appear.

OPTIONS INCLUDE:
