📋 About This Mod
Ultra Gore 2 is a mod that forces dismemberment to occur on all dismember-able enemies (now including guards!) that are killed by the player. It does not make Geralt any stronger and it does not make the combat any easier. This effect is entirely visual and has no effect on gameplay.
I included the script edits of the the original Ultra Gore 2 mod (by YoseppyArmineppy) to work with the new version of the Witcher, which has a more elaborate script than the original Witcher 3. It works in both the GoG and the Steam version.
There are three versions:
1. Always dismember; this version dismembers (almost) all the time all enemies that can be dismembered.
2. Often dismember; in this version the chance to dismember is very high, but it also has a chance for more "regular" deaths like gaping wounds and stabby deaths. Finishers also occur about as frequent as in vanilla Witcher 3.
3. Often dismember with increased finishers. I increased the chance of a finisher with this one. It doesn't do a finisher all the time, but still often enough to notice the difference. For those that crave those slow-mo finishing moves. I couldn't tell if this messes with the game balance though! So use at your own risk.
Installation
Using Nexus Mod Manager
Download your desired version using Nexus Mod Manager and activate.
Manually
Download your desired version and then copy the modUltraGore2NG folder into your <Witcher 3 Install directory>\mods directory. If the mods directory does not exist you will need to create it.

Nonupdate 10: Redkit update didn't change any files that affect this mod. Still works.
Nonupdate 9: Mod is fully compatible with 4. 04.
Update 8: Witcher 3 4. 03 made a few changes to the damageManagerProcessor.ws script. I've updated the mods script to be fully compatible with the new changes. As some people still forget: If you have more mods with this script, you'll have to remerge the scripts with the mod merger tool!
