DescriptionThis mod aims to bring back the viper armour appearance presented in the pre-release 2014 gameplay demo into the final game. This includes "remodelled boots, pants, gloves, belt, chainmails and overall texture maps" etc. Also as an optional "shortgloves" are added as dlc. A lot of effort was put into making this as close to the original demo using the in-game assets and reference from uncompressed screenshots.
Improvements
- New belly/back armor chainmail
- Truly Accurate E3 armor textures and mesh
- (optional) dlc shortgloves

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved (257 endorsements) – players who want the E3 look have clearly found it.
- Lightweight and focused – does exactly what it says without extra bloat.
- Decent download count (6,549) shows it's been tried by a fair number of players.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2021 – may not be compatible with the latest Skyrim version or other mods.
- Only affects one armor – if you're not specifically after the E3 Viper look, this mod has nothing for you.
For Skyrim players who remember the E3 2014 demo and want that exact Viper Armor appearance in their game. It's a must-have for lore purists and those chasing that nostalgic look. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes or broader armor overhauls – this is purely cosmetic and very specific.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since this is a simple replacer, just drop the files into your Data folder or use a mod manager – no special setup needed.
- If you're using other armor mods, check load order to ensure this one takes priority for the Viper Armor.
- Make sure your game version is compatible – if you're on a newer Skyrim version, test it early to avoid conflicts.
