PlayStation Controls for Enhanced Edition W3EE (DS4 PS4 Button Icons)

Adds consistent PS4 button prompt icons for Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition. This is "PlayStation Controls" by uacvax/TheLastWitcher merged into W3EE. I take no credit for his amazing work. All thanks goes to him and contributors! Now you should always have Playstation icons when using your Dualshock4 controller.

W3EE v4. 52 or newer has to be installed. Only add this when you have set everything up and checked that your W3EE install works!

Then just extract the two folders into your /mods directory and overwrite

About future W3EE update compatibility:

This mod only adds a few lines within 2 files of W3EE: inputManager.ws; localizedContent.ws of W3EE under W3EEMain/content/scripts/game

You can always use them with new W3EE updates as long as W3EE didn't made changes to those files.

If you see "last changed" on file details isn't 2019 or newer it's safe. Only then merge needs to be updated.

Recommended:

Use DS4Windows to fully utilize your controller. I added my config for reference. This is for standard controller layout provided by W3EE.

Tick the box under Settings for "Hide DS4 Controller" to avoid double inputs and working keyboard shortcuts. ENJOY

herb gathering on horse: left click touchpad

medidate: right click touchpad

map: wipe down

quests: wipe up

inventory: wipe left

wipe right: pause menu

bestiary: share button

start: game menu

quick save: PS Button

pause game: click upper top of touchpad
