📋 About This Mod
ALL CREDITS GO TO Mawginng, the original creator of the same 1. 32 mod.
If the author updates the mod, I will gladly put down the mod.
What's the purpose?
This mod protects or reduces fall damage when using Quen Sign. Now the amount of fall damage is calculated based on Quen Intensity.
Also, it contains the readjusted fall damage height calculation from Next Gen patch. Hence, you will get less damage than Classic 1. 32.
Falling from a very high place is still deadly.
4. 04 Next-Gen Compatible!
Installation
For newcomers/beginners: I invite you to reading The Tome of Witcher 3 Modding
0 DON'T USE VORTEX!!
1. Use Witcher 3 Mod Manager, or extract the files in your "Mods" folder of the game's directory, Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY Edition.
2. Launch Script Merger and merge the script if it conflicts.
How to uninstall?
Delete the folder "modQuenFallingDamage". Then launch Script Merger and remerge again.
Compatibility and Conflict
Reminder: Next-Gen Compatible!
This is a script mod that only contains the following scripts:
- scripts\game\gameplay\items\spells\quenEntity.ws"
- scripts\game\actor.ws"
So don't forget to run Script Merger.
If you wish to use it on the Classic 1. 32, install the original mod.
Know Conflict:
- No Fall Damage (NEXT GEN): This mod is a "cheat" version where it nullifies the fall damage. You don't need "More reasonable fall injury" if you use that mod.
Recommended Mod
Below is the list of mods I recommend with mine:
- No More Rolling Down Stairs: Most Recommended. Prevent Geralt from rolling down when walking on stairs.
- Improved Horse Controls: Most Recommended. Make Roach the best horse in the game.
- No time for Gwent: Allow interrupting and winning Gwent whenever you want.
- Unloaded: Remove the weight system.
- Unbreakable: Remove the durability system.
- AutoLoot (MSF): Allow to autoloot herbs and corpses without opening their contents.
