Features

Gameplay switches disable player fall damage and stamina drain for Geralt's ridden horse. Separate movie switches request startup logo/disclaimer skipping and loading-story recap skipping; restart the game after changes. Settings have explicit reset defaults.

Internal combat-lock maintenance tracks only locks observed through native combat callers. It avoids duplicate starts and can retire its matching stale combat lock after ten quiet seconds in Exploration. Diagnostic commands mmSaveStatus(), mmSaveIncident(), mmSaveTrace() and mmSaveLocks() show a bounded partial history; optional numeric arguments page through trace/incident history.

Requirements and installation

The Witcher 3 Remastered 5. 0 on PC. Legacy 1. 32/4.x compatibility is not established.

Requires Malaombra's Core >=0. 1. 20-dev (use the latest published Core).

Install Core, then this archive with Vortex. Configure Settings > Mods > Malaombra's Mods > Malaombra's Tweaks. For manual installation, copy the archive's Mods content to the game Mods directory. Diagnostic commands require the separately enabled native console.

Compatibility and limitations

This is not a universal cannot-save fix. Unknown quest/engine/third-party locks are not forcibly released. Diagnostic observations are incomplete, session-only and lost on restart; no functioning retail log-file destination is verified. Movie controls use engine flags and may not suppress every clip; their preferences persisting is separate from movie behavior. No new UI page is added for maintenance.

Release status

Version 0. 3. 5-dev. Development release used in the author's personal Vortex setup. Authored scripts have passed joint REDkit compilation and automated checks; this does not establish every retail behavior or every third-party mod combination. Back up saves before installation. No vanilla assets or third-party mod source is redistributed.
