One settings hub for the Malaombra suite

Features

Core puts installed feature settings under Settings > Mods > Malaombra's Mods. Feature pages are hidden when their scripts are absent. It centralizes menu definitions rather than distributing competing gameplay.xml files with each feature.

An optional alternate quick-save action can be assigned in Settings > Key bindings; vanilla F5 remains available. The debug-console binding needs a separate Windows Python helper and DBGConsoleOn configuration. Installing the mod alone does not enable that helper. Console delivery has been tested on Windows, but opening the retail console is not guaranteed.

Requirements and installation

The Witcher 3 Remastered 5. 0 on PC. Legacy 1. 32/4.x compatibility is not established.

No other Malaombra mod is required.

Install Core first with Vortex. For manual installation, place modMalaombraCore in the game Mods folder and integrate the package's bin/config/r4game/user_config_matrix/pc XML files with existing menu definitions using a compatible menu installer; do not overwrite other mods' menu entries. The optional input.settings.part.txt contains Core actions to merge into matching sections of Documents/The Witcher 3/input.settings while the game is closed. The console-support/core_console.py helper requires Python 3 on Windows and separately enabling DBGConsoleOn=true in the game bin/config/base/general.ini. These optional integrations are not required for gameplay feature menus.

Compatibility and limitations

Remove dependent feature mods before removing Core. Optional console-helper setup and user configuration are separate from Vortex removal. Core reduces menu overlap within this suite; it does not promise compatibility with every third-party menu or script mod.

Release status

Version 0. 1. 22-dev. New development release prepared for publication; not yet installed or tested in the retail game. Authored scripts have passed joint REDkit compilation and automated checks; this does not establish every retail behavior or every third-party mod combination. Back up saves before installation. No vanilla assets or third-party mod source is redistributed.
