Features

Four independently configurable animation factors cover ladder ascent, ladder descent, shared ladder entry/exit and ledge climbing for Geralt. Each defaults to 1. 5x with 0. 1 steps between 0. 5x and 3x; 1x restores native animation speed. Owned animation effects are cleaned up on exit/disable; other effects have priority.

Requirements and installation

The Witcher 3 Remastered 5. 0 on PC. Legacy 1. 32/4.x compatibility is not established.

Requires Malaombra's Core >=0. 1. 22-dev (use the latest published Core).

Install Core, then this archive with Vortex. Configure Settings > Mods > Malaombra's Mods > Malaombra's Climbing. For manual installation, copy the archive's Mods content to the game Mods directory.

Compatibility and limitations

Ordinary stairs use walking/running and are not modified. Ladder sliding, jump-to-ladder and idle are excluded. Interaction permissions, climb-height limits, quests and saves are unchanged. Native exploration movement/collision/timers mean animation and displacement may not scale identically.

Release status

Version 0. 1. 0-dev. Development release used in the author's personal Vortex setup. Authored scripts have passed joint REDkit compilation and automated checks; this does not establish every retail behavior or every third-party mod combination. Back up saves before installation. No vanilla assets or third-party mod source is redistributed.
