Gimme Lights Shafts (Fix for AA Settings)

Gimme Light Shafts

The Witcher 3 Next Gen Edition (ver 4. 04 and maybe before) has the problem where with the AA settings set to `Off` or `FXAA` light shafts would not be shown even when enabled. This mod fixes this problem by reloading the world while also keeping the players location and ingame time intact.

Installation

• [] Download the mod

  [] Run the script for your needs

  [] GLS_download_repo - let the script download the repository

  [] GLS_show_repo_link - show only a link to the repository and download everything manually

  [] Install the mod

  • [] you should get a file named "w3-gimme-light-shafts-main.zip"

    [] extract the files

    [] one of the extracted files is a "README.md", open it and follow the instructions

    Other notes:

    • [] you have to use the command everytime you load a save.

      [] Warning: it works like fast travel and will increase the unique item ids of runestones/glyphs with each use! Just like with the vanilla game it's best practice to sell runestones/glyphs that you don't use.
