📋 About This Mod
THIS MOD IS JUST A BETA AND WASN'T MEANT FOR A FULL PLAYTHROUGH
IT ONLY CHANGES THE BASE ENV (read: clear weather in most of Toussaint, excluding special areas)
Keep that in mind while trying it out, share some issues you might encounter, and enjoy :)
What this mod tries to accomplish is pretty much making Toussaint a neutral and normal region with minimal edits, but keeping all the positive traits vanilla has (sunrises, sunsets). Now that it's neutral, it's much easier to make a good reshade that can cover both vanilla and Toussaint.
Toussaint still looks warm, but not the "in your face" kind of thing that vanilla for some reason is.
here's a timecycle showcase of an even older version. sunrises, sunsets and nights have been fixed up more since!

So, what does this mod change?
- changes the color of the sky & clouds to a more calm & normal blue
- makes the lighting that hits the ground less yellow/green
- removes the distant dark fog present in vanilla
- brightens the interiors up
- makes nights way less green
- makes trees & shrubs a bit darker
- strengthens the SSAO, making foliage look less flat
Stay on the lookout as this mod will most likely be updated with weathers & missing locations, maybe not by me, but a good friend of mine who shares my vision.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 597 endorsements and over 12k downloads.
- Targets specific visual annoyances like yellow lights and cyan skies.
- Lightweight change that only touches the base ENV, so it's easy to test.
⚠️ Cons
- Beta status means it's unpolished and may have visual glitches.
- Last updated in 2018, so it might not be compatible with the latest game patches.
- Only changes the base ENV, so other lighting mods may conflict.
For Witcher 3 players who love Toussaint but hate the yellow tint and want a quick fix without a full overhaul. Skip if you want a complete lighting mod or play with other ENV mods that might clash.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a beta, back up your original ENV files before overwriting.
- Test in different weather conditions to see if the changes look good in all scenarios.
- If you use other lighting mods, load this one last to avoid conflicts.
