📋 About This Mod
Description
Gives all unmarked quests in the game journal entries and objectives to complete.
First of all, what is an unmarked quest? It's a quest like any other, usually starting with an exclamation mark on the map, giving you a reward upon completion, almost always with multiple choices, but one that doesn't give you any visible objectives in the journal and no journal entries. With the Events mod all these quests will now have both objectives to complete (or fail) and journal entries to obtain. All possible outcomes are accounted for and unique journal entries written for each of them.
This mod is 100% retroactive and can be installed in the middle of a running playthrough (although you obviously won't get any objectives or entries for quests you have already completed).
Over 250 new strings were written to accomodate all the possibilites and outcomes of every quest (consisting of 9826 words).
New in update 2. 0:
The mod now features a mod menu. Mod menu options explained:
-
[]Enable Events - Enable mod. It will not activate until you turn this option ON. Please note that this feature cannot be turned OFF once enabled. All quests will remain active for the remainder of your current playthrough. The only way to disable this feature is by using the DISABLE option found below.
[
]Sort Events Under Minor Quests Category - Enable sorting of the newly added quests into a separate category in the Quests journal, titled "Minor Quests." Otherwise they will be sorted under "Secondary Quests" with all other side activites.[]Disable Events and Deactivate All Quests - Toggle this option if you wish to completely disable the Events mod. This will stop new journal entries from appearing and will delete all existing mod entries from your Quests journal. Please note that doing this is permanent for your current playthrough. If you previously enabled the mod and use this feature to disable it, all the mod's functionality will no longer be available in the current playthrough and you will have to start a new game if you wish to enable it again. How to properly use the feature: Turn the option ON. Quit the menu back to the game, the mod will be uninstalled and all the entries deleted. Then go back to the menu and turn the option back OFF if you ever wish to use Events again in future playthroughs.
[]There is also an option to "Complete" every individual quest in case it gets stuck for whatever reason or you wish to remove it from your active quests.
Because of the ability to uninstall the mod now, Events is no longer locked to the save game.
WARNING! - This mod will be included in Brothers In Arms - Ultimate Edition mod, coming out on December 1st, 2025. DO NOT install the 2. 0 update if you plan to use the new BIA, wait for
