📋 About This Mod
Mod now works with Complete Edition (aka Next-gen Update)!
Description
You will always get AT LEAST set amount of experience and/or gold for quests. Default is 50 exp/gold. You can set each value separately using in-game menu "Options->Mods->Customize Rewards" from 0 (which means vanilla behavior) to 1000.
Any reward that is higher than set values is unaffected, so you'll still get proper amount of exp/gold when doing quests near your level. When you should receive no gold for reward, you will NOT get any gold (as it should be). Same with experience.
Examples with values set to 50 exp and 50 gold:
Example 1: Completing a low level quest should give you 1 exp and 20 gold. You will get 50 exp and 50 gold.
Example 2: Completing another low level quest should give you 20 exp and 0 gold. You will get 50 exp and 0 gold.
Example 3: Completing quest at same level as you should give you 200 exp and 100 gold. You will get 200 exp and 100 gold.
Note 1: Mod doesn't change any multipliers.
Note 2: Mod doesn't change non-quest Gwent games, so you can use other mods that change rewards for these.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 717 endorsements and over 18k downloads.
- Simple and effective—no complex setup, just tweak values in-game.
- Gives you control over reward pacing without overhauling the whole game.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects minimum rewards, not maximum or random variance.
- No detailed documentation on how the menu is accessed or if it requires a specific game version.
- Last updated in January 2023—may not be compatible with the latest game patches.
For players who find quest rewards too stingy or too generous and want a quick fix. Also great for mod authors who want to balance their own quest mods. Skip if you're looking for a complete economy overhaul—this only touches minimums.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Check if the mod requires Script Extender or other prerequisites—if not, just drop the files into your Data folder.
- Use the in-game menu to set values before starting a new playthrough to avoid mid-game balance shifts.
- If you're using other reward mods, test the interaction—this mod only sets minimums, so it might stack unexpectedly.
