COMBO BLOOD
Combo Blood history:
I'll start from afar. There were 2 major blood mods, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Personally, I have always lacked in Brutal Blood what is in More Blood and vice versa (for example: in Brutal Blood I was missing some of the More Blood features such as: bloody trails from sword, blood when sheathing sword). Then I got the idea to merge these two mods and after much testing (thanks to the users from the Discord server "GudMods", who supported me, helped me with finding bugs and fixing them) - Combo Blood is appeared.
Combo Blood Includes:
-
[]Brutal Blood by ulug (was taken as a basis)
[
]More Blood by KNGR[]BLOOD textures by ramccoid
[]Some my tweaks with script file (KNGMoreBlood.ws)
(I experimented with other mods: "Bleeding Monsters" and "Upscaled Non-Puddle Blood Textures" by MonarchX, there were many problems with them that I could not solve, so I did not add to the final version and they did not give a noticeable boost in quality blood)
Combo Blood Features:
-
[]Everything that is good in Brutal Blood, More Blood and BLOOD is now in 1 mod
[
]Full compatibility with Ghost Mode and with mods that who used "player.w2ent" (example E3Quen)[]Compatibility with Witcher 3 - Enhanced Edition (check "Forum" category)
[]Fixed some bugs of original mods
Future Plans:
-
[]Everything that is good in Brutal Blood, More Blood and BLOOD is now in 1 mod

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust: 3,449 endorsements and 192k downloads show it's a go-to for gore fans.
- One install gets you three mods' worth of blood effects—no need to juggle multiple files.
- Makes combat feel brutal and satisfying, perfect for role-playing the Butcher of Blaviken.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in February 2023—might not be compatible with the latest game patches or DLC.
- Visual mods like this can tank performance on lower-end rigs, especially during heavy fights.
For Witcher 3 players who want over-the-top gore and a more visceral combat feel. If you're tired of enemies dying with barely a scratch, this mod delivers. Skip if you prefer realistic or subtle visuals—this is pure, unapologetic bloodbath.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to back up your original game files before installing, as the mod replaces texture files.
- If you use other visual mods, test for conflicts—blood textures might clash with retextures.
- Check the mod's forum posts for any user-reported compatibility fixes with the latest game version.
