📋 About This Mod

Note: While I'm sure this information is pretty useless now as many well made mods can do similar things, it does still work with the latest debug console version and v1. 1 of the game if you want to use it. This works on in-game models and any spawned models also, seeming to last through cut-scenes and gameplay. I'm not sure when the models reload. Carries the advantage of just inputting a command to change and revert NPC models instead of hard modding the game. Some of you may find a use for it.

Update: Added Keira Metz's commands

This is a quick guide to the changing character models feature I discovered using the debug console commands. This command uses appearance names found in the extracted w2ent files under /characters/npc_entities/ Here is a quick video I made, it's rather self explanatory. Last few seconds of the video is NSFW, fair warning. d1gLUYU4RSc Step-by-step guide: Once the Debug console has been installed, simply stand in front of a character and bring up the console. The command used is the appearance command in the following format: appearance()        (where is the appearance name) Note: The command is rather finickey. You have to aim at the character, and often it doesn't register right and so requires repositioning for it to work. Bear that in mind if you find it doesn't work.

I will update the appearance name list when I have a look at more, though of course you can do it yourself if you have extracted the game files.  Some of the appearance commands found don't seem to work or at least have no visable change and so I have excluded them from this list. For now I have the following:
