Brutal and Realistic Combat for GOG 1.31 and GOG GOTY

I just converted this mod to 1. 31. I can not guarantee everything works perfectly. Please report any bugs that occur in comparison to the old version linked above! Thank you.

I took the mod by vahndaar and tried to make it run on my GOTY version of the game. I added all missing functions to the scripts. I also noticed some deprecated functions used by vahndaar. Since I did not find any replacement for that functions I just disabled calling them. This could cause some bugs when using abilities and/or effects.

The functions I had to prevent from calling are:

• []abilityManager. GetApplicatorParamsFor(applicator, pwrStatValue); in actor.ws

• []applicator. UpdateParams(); in effectManager.ws

Installation

INFO Please try this mod without other mods first to confirm it works properly.

Please make sure you installed the Unification patch for 1. 31 and 1. 31GOTY game versions before installing this mod.

• 1. Create a folder Mods in the base directory of your game. 2. Extract the content of the ZIP-File into that Mods folder. 3. Move the file modBrutalCombatConfig.xml from your Mods folder to bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc 4. Try to start the game.

Roadmap

The next step I'll be going to take is to use the new script files from 1. 31. That way I can probably eliminate some bugs if there are any.

Help wanted

I could need some help updating this mod to work with the Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone DLC. I'm not much of a modder so if you know how to edit the blob0.bundle file included in this mod we could try to make it work!
