Names Locale Switcher

Description

Play Rogue Trader in your language, but read item and talent names in another. This mod adds a second language selector to the Options screen that controls only item and talent names — your main game language (UI, dialogue, character names) stays untouched. For example: play in Russian while item and talent names display in English.

Installation instructions

Option A:  RT Modfinder (easiest): open RT Modfinder and drag the mod archive onto the drop area labeled for it. Done.

Option B:

  []Copy the `NamesLocaleSwitcher` folder into the game's `Modifications` directory: %LocalAppData%Low\Owlcat Games\Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader\Modifications\`[/]

  []Launch the game → open Mods / Modifications → enable Names Locale Switcher.[/]

  []Go to Options → Game and pick the language in the new "Item and talent names language" dropdown, right under the main Language selector. Reopen your inventory/character sheet to see the change.[/]

If the mod doesn't appear in the in-game Mods/Modifications list: Rogue Trader's Owlcat mod manager sometimes only lists mods that are already enabled. In that case, enable it manually — close the game and edit OwlcatModificationManagerSettings.json in the same

folder …/Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader/ (create the file if missing) to:
