Better Type Sorting

This UMM mod patches inventory type sorting, so there's more detail to weapon and armor sorting than just alphabetical by display name.

New sorting steps:

Armor sorting

• []Racial Restriction

  []Category (Light, Medium, Heavy)

  []Armor Value

  []Deflection

Weapon sorting

• []Melee / Ranged

  []Family (Damage type. e.g. Las,bolt)

  []Category (e.g. Basic, Pistol)

  []1 handed / 2 handed

  []Heavy

Consumables

• []Blueprint Name (I didn't find a usable (sub)type field, but most consumables are

  prefixed with a subcategory. So most consumables are with their own

  type, but not all.)

  Installation:

  • []        Download the mod file and unzip

    []        If the folder is not already named BetterTypeSorting please rename it to that

    []        Launch the game at least once.

    []        Please note that the game comes with its own built in Unity Mod Manager so you do not need to install another one

    []        Navigate to %LocalAppData%Low\Owlcat Games\Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader\UnityModManager\

    []        An example path is C:\Users\PC\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader\UnityModManager\

    []        Copy BetterTypeSorting into the UnityModManagerFolder

    []        Launch Rogue Trader and you may need to hit ctrl+F10 to see the mod manager window

    []        Load a save or start a new game

    [] Open your inventory, navigate to the weapons or armor tab, select one of the 'type' sorting options

    • []Can I add/remove this mod to a saved game?

    []Is this mod compatible with X mod?
    • []It may conflict with other mods if they change how the inventory is sorted.

    []Doesn't the base game already sort by type and categories?
    • []Version 1. 2 added a lot more sorting criteria, but this mod still has more sorting criteria for armor.
