No Sea Sickness

Make sure to disable "Immersive Ship Camera" in the game settings as well!

This mod should work regardless, but if you need this mod, you almost certainly want that option to be disabled as it adds additional camera rotation when sailing.

Supports BepInEx Configuration Manager to customize the values in-game with instant changes.

If you don't use Configuration Manager, you can edit the configuration in Valheim\BepInEx\config after starting the game with the mod loaded once.

Installation:

• []Install BepInEx unless you already have it

  []Download with Vortex and enable the mod, or:

  []Manual install: unpack the download to the Valheim folder, for example C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Valheim, placing the DLL in Valheim\BepInEx\plugins

  []Optional: Install Configuration Manager to allow configuring the mod in-game (press escape, then F1 to open the Configuration Manager menu; click outside the window to dismiss)

  Configuration:

  To change the configuration, you can either use Configuration Manager (see above) or, after having started the game with the mod loaded once, edit the configuration file under Valheim\BepInEx\config.

  The game's default max camera distance is 6; the mod changes that to 20 by default, as zooming out further most likely helps reduce motion sickness. If you don't want this, you can change it in the config file or in Configuration Manager.

  Mod compatibility:

  Unknown -- please report any issues! Reports about what works well are also appreciated.

  I use Valheim Plus with no issues, but it's possible some configurations may cause issues.

  Mods that do not affect the camera will almost certainly not interfere with this mod; ones that do affect the camera may cause the max camera distance to be overwritten, but other issues are not expected.

  Known issues:

  • []Due to the mod's design, the camera may suddenly jump in height when you move the mouse vertically, as it resets to the game's preferred camera

    height, i.e. following the moving waves.[]Only works for the player controlling the ship, not for players riding along. This is because the game's check to see whether you're on a ship or not seems bugged, while the one to see whether you're controlling or not works fine.
