📋 About This Mod
It seemed a bit strange that you can't discard unwanted items in Valheim, so now you can!
This mod enables a hotkey (the Delete key by default) which recycles whatever item you are currently dragging in an inventory.
This works on partial stacks, so if you shift click on a stack, select a partial amount, then press the hotkey, you will recycle the partial amount.
By default it returns all resources used in crafting items, but this can be set to a fraction or 0 in the config.
By default it will not return resources if the recipe for either the item or one of its resources is not yet known.
This mod now works with Epic Loot, though you must enable ReturnEnchantedResources to receive enchanted resources back.
Config
A config file BepInEx/config/aedenthorn. DiscardInventoryItem.cfg is created after running the game once with this mod).
You can adjust the config values by editing this file using a text editor or in-game using the Config Manager.
To reload the config from the config file, type discardinventoryitem reset into the game's console (F5).
Technical
To install this mod, the easiest way is to just use Vortex, the Nexus Mods mod manager. It should take care of all dependencies.
To install manually, place the dll file in the BepInEx/plugins folder. You will need BepInEx.
