Mod Configs

In-game configuration UI for Valheim that matches the native Settings panel. Browse and edit BepInEx plugin configs without leaving the game.

Edits save to your local config files. Client-side only — no server install required.

    Installation

    r2modman / Thunderstore (recommended)

    • []Install r2modman.[/]

      []Create or open a Valheim profile.[/]

      []Install BepInEx Pack Valheim.[/]

      []Search for Mod Configs and click Install with Mod Manager, or go to Settings → Import local mod and select the downloaded zip.[/]

      []Launch Valheim through r2modman.[/]

      Manual (BepInEx)

      • []Install BepInEx Pack Valheim and launch the game once.[/]

        []Put ModConfigs.dll in:

        <Valheim folder>\BepInEx\plugins\ModdedWolf-ModConfigs\[/]

        []Launch the game.[/]

      If you downloaded a zip, extract it so the .dll is inside that ModdedWolf-ModConfigs folder.

      Multiplayer

      Client-side only. No server install required. Settings are not synced to a dedicated server or other players — changes apply to the local client's config files only.

      Settings

      After your first run, open:

      BepInEx\config\ModdedWolf. ModConfigs.cfg

      Useful options:

      • []ShowPauseMenuButton — default true — show Mod Configs on the in-game pause menu[/]

        []ShowMainMenuButton — default false — show Mod Configs on the title-screen main menu[/]

        []ShowAdvancedSettings — default false — show settings marked as advanced[/]

        []HideSelfFromList — default false — hide this mod's own settings from the in-game panel[/]

        []RememberLastMod — default true — reopen on the last mod you had selected[/]
