MixueStack - Smart Chest Management for Valheim

MixueStack is a client-side Valheim utility that makes nearby storage easier to use without turning your chests into a general store. Quickly merge matching inventory stacks, search nearby chests, learn unknown items, and use nearby materials while crafting or building.

  []Nearby chest stacking: After the open chest is processed, matching stacks can be merged into eligible chests within the configured range.[/]

  []Craft/Build Stack: When enabled, crafting and building can draw stackable materials from eligible nearby chests.[/]

  []Skip List: Exclude whole categories, sub-categories, or individual items from quick-stacking.[/]

  []Search Chest: Search by item or category and show a temporary ESP label over matching chests.[/]

  []Auto-learn Nearby Items: Learn item materials found in eligible nearby chests without moving or removing their contents.[/]

  []Configurable range and ESP color: Adjust the nearby scan range and search-label color from the panel or BepInEx config.[/]

  []Modal controls: F6 opens the panel and Esc closes it. Gameplay input is held while the panel is open so typing in search fields does not trigger map, radial, or other native actions.[/]

  How Quick Stack Works

  • []The currently open chest is processed first.[/]

    []Nearby eligible chests are then scanned within the configured range.[/]

    []Items are only merged into a chest that already contains the same item type.[/]

    []This is not a general store-all function and does not create new item types in empty chests.[/]

    []Equipped items and items in the hotbar row are always left alone.[/]

    Using the Panel

    • []Press F6 to open the MixueStack panel.[/]

      []Set Nearby Range and click Save.[/]

      []Use the Skip List tab to add category, sub-category, or item exclusions.[/]

      []Use Auto-learn Nearby Items to learn unknown materials from eligible nearby chests.[/]

      []Use the Search Chest tab to select an item or category, then click Search.[/]

      []A successful search displays labels over matching chests for approximately 10 seconds.[/]

      Multiplayer Safety

      MixueStack is designed for client-side use in multiplayer. Nearby chest operations respect Valheim access rules and skip containers that are not safe to touch, including ward-protected or private chests, player-owned containers, ship chests, non-player-placed containers, and chests currently in use by another player. The shared ZDO in-use state is checked so a local client does not rely only on its own UI state.

      No server-side plugin installation is required. Each player who wants the MixueStack features should install it on their own client.

      Installation

      • []Install BepInExPack Valheim.[/]

        []Copy MixueStack.dll into:

        BepInEx/plugins/MixueStack/MixueStack.dll[/]

        []Start Valheim and press F6 in a world.[/]

        Configuration

        The configuration is saved by BepInEx at:

        BepInEx/config/com.mixue.stack.cfg

        Available settings include Nearby Range, Connect to Nearby Chest, and Search Chest ESP Text Color. The in-game panel is the recommended way to change them.
