Ithaca Class Stealth Patrol Boat

This small inshore vessel is a compact 125-ton craft developed by the Olympus Military Complex to fill a critical gap in the young archipelago nation’s early coastal defenses. Designed as the first true stealth-oriented ship of the OMC, its missions are deliberately diverse : border and convoy protection, anti-piracy operations, commando insertion, and rapid-response duties. It prioritizes concentrated firepower and agility in confined waters that larger vessels simply cannot access. The Ithaca was specifically built to go where other ships cannot into the narrow rivers, shallow channels and cramped coastal zones where pirates, mafias and armed gangs operate with relative impunity. Its small size and shallow draught allow it to pursue and clear these lawless, confined areas that remain beyond the reach of conventional corvettes and larger patrol ships. Unlike the Hypermnestra fast missile boat, which emphasizes endurance and volume of fire for long-range saturation strikes, the Ithaca adopts a more balanced and precise approach. While it lacks the range and staying power of combatants such as the Antares class, it compensates with a very compact, low-detectability emerged structure and a surprisingly potent detection suite for its size. The highly angled hull is not made of radar-absorbent material. Instead, it is constructed from the small reserve of the Archipelago nation titanium, striking a careful balance between reduced radar cross-section, manageable weight, and meaningful physical protection. Its two banks of 9 vertical launch cells are manually reloadable from inside the ship and can carry dual-role missiles or a mix of more potent short-range SAM and anti-surface missiles.
