Zephyrus Class Trimaran Corvette

This advanced "small" ship is the 3rd export vessel developed by the Olympus Military Complex and marks a substantial leap forward from the Nemesis class. Designed to offer significantly higher performance while remaining competitive on the international market, the Zephyrus introduces a trimaran hull configuration. It's a deliberate architectural choice that fundamentally changes what is possible in a vessel of this size : by using 3 slender hulls instead of one, the Zephyrus achieves approximately twice the internal volume of the Nemesis while maintaining a much shorter overall length. This configuration reduce motion in rough seas and delivers a much wider deck area. These advantages are particularly valuable for a ship intended to operate heavy helicopters and drones alongside a large missile battery. The increased internal volume also allows for substantially larger fuel reserves and hangar with an improved crew accommodations, granting the Zephyrus genuine blue-water endurance : a clear step up from previous export designs. Along with a compact and armored 90 mm rapid-fire cannon, its most significant capability lies in its offensive power. The Zephyrus have an autoloader system for the left horizontal VLS farm and, thanks to it's stability, can quickly reload the front vertical launch system of 50 VLS cells each with the missiles stored. This gives the ship a level of missile firepower that surpasses all vessels in its size category and can rival a group of 2 conventional destroyers. These substantial gains, however, come with clear trade-offs. The Zephyrus is noticeably more expensive than both the Cassiopea and Nemesis classes, and its top speed of 37,5 knots is already impressive but a bit lower due to its increased displacement and more complex hull form.
