Cassiopea Class Light Patrol Corvette

This Heavy Offshore Patrol Vessel (marketed internationally as a Light Patrol Corvette) is the first export vessel ever developed by the Olympus Military Complex. Designed as a more compact and significantly more affordable counterpart to the battle-proven Antares class Corvette Block 2, the Cassiopea was created specifically to address the tight budgetary realities of the young archipelago nation while opening vital new revenue streams through international sales. It delivers reliable and highly effective littoral and coastal defense capabilities at a fraction of the cost of larger warships. The design faithfully preserves the rugged simplicity, ease of maintenance, and reliability that made the original Antares family the affectionate “People’s Buckler” during the nation’s darkest early days. At the same time, it incorporates targeted modern refinements tailored for both export customers and continued domestic mass production. Key design improvements include : - An upgraded radar mast with enhanced long-range detection and tracking performance - An experimental inverted bow that improves seakeeping in rough seas and overall hydrodynamic efficiency, then reduces total lenght and radar cross-section Intended primarily for maritime security, heavy anti-piracy operations, protection of close sea lanes and coastal patrol (but not suited for regional seas), light to medium escort duties and mobile point for light helicopters, the Cassiopea perfectly embodies the Olympus Military Complex’s core philosophy in its purest and most accessible form : delivering maximum operational value from minimal resources. As the first warship the young archipelago nation offers to the international market, the Cassiopea marks a major strategic milestone : proving that even in a resource-scarce post-regression world, Olympus designs can compete successfully on both performance and price on the global stage, while helping fund the continued expansion and modernization of the nation’s own f
