Vega Class Multi-role Compact Corvette

Drawing on a decade of relentless research and hard-won operational experience, the Olympus Naval Systems department has delivered the most cost-effective conventional corvette in the navy’s arsenal. The design is ruthlessly optimized for mass production that perfectly aligns with the second phase of the nation’s thalassocratic strategy : sustained power projection across contested sea lanes and robust defense of archipelago chains. True to the Olympus Military Complex’s core principle of delivering maximum combat capability at minimum cost, the Vega class achieves overwhelming firepower at a fraction of the unit price of earlier designs. With a displacement only 2/3 that of its predecessors and made possible by low-observable shaping, advanced composite materials proven on the new Venus frigate, compact propulsion, and highly integrated, automated systems, the ship carries an armament suite whose air-defense capacity alone surpasses the Antares and Ceres classes together by 22 missiles. Key armament includes : - 2 batteries of 45 short-range surface-to-air missiles mounted atop the superstructure - A forward VLS farm of 54 compact medium-range anti-ship/land-attack missiles - A conventionnal 76mm rapid-fire autocannons turret - A twin miniguns unmanned turret mounted on the roof - One torpedo tube per side - Automated decoy launchers and mine-deployment systems - Dual sextuple grenade launchers for deploying stealthy USVs, mines, or torpedoes Large-scale production of the Vega class will provide unprecedented layered air defense and offensive striking power in both littoral and blue-water environments, closing critical gaps in sea-route security and island-chain protection while keeping lifecycle costs dramatically lower than any comparable force structure.
