The mod tracks actions like mining, deaths, and loot, compiling them into a unique report delivered every morning. Note: The code and dialogue lines in this mod are AI-generated. I conceptualized the project, then manually reviewed, filtered, and tested everything to ensure quality. Chinese translation by LUCA. Key Features The Newsboy: A custom NPC arrives at your spawn point each morning to deliver the paper. He acts like a Traveling Merchant and requires no housing. Event Tracking: Reports on boss defeats, rare loot discoveries, and massive excavation projects. Player Statistics: Tracks death counts, economy/trading volume, and mob extermination sprees. Procedural Gossip: Generates absurd rumors about vanilla NPCs and the state of the world. Multiplayer: Fully compatible; tracks statistics for all players on the server. Configuration & Delivery Customize how you receive the news in the Mod Config: Delivery Method: Enable the Newsboy NPC (default) or have the Guide hand out papers. Chat Mode: Option to print headlines directly to the chat window at dawn instead of using an item. Notifications: Toggle the morning announcement message. Permanent Papers: Option to prevent newspapers from expiring at dawn, allowing you to collect past editions. How to Use Wait for sunrise (4:30 AM). The Newsboy will spawn near your bed or world spawn point. Interact with him to receive the daily edition. Status No further updates or bug fixes will be provided.
