Windmill Elevation Multiplier [ModContest1]

Windmills in vanilla Timberborn don't care about elevation. A windmill sitting on flat dirt produces the same as one perched twenty levels in the sky. This mod changes that. The higher you place a windmill, the more power it produces. How it works Each Z-level above ground adds +5% to the windmill's nominal power output, capped at +100% (×2. 0). With the defaults, a ground-level windmill is unchanged. One at Z=10 makes 50% more. One at Z=20 or above makes double. Vanilla wind cut-in/cut-out still applies on top, so windless moments still cut output as usual. Inspector panel Click a placed windmill and an Elevation Bonus panel appears in the inspector. Z, bonus percent, multiplier. White at base, green when there's a bonus, gold once you hit the cap. Tunable defaults The cap, the per-level bonus, and the reference Z all live in configuration.json in the mod folder. If you want a steeper curve, a higher ceiling, or a bonus that only kicks in above some Z, edit the numbers and restart. Save safety The mod scales nominal power output at runtime. Nothing is written to your save. Uninstall any time and every windmill goes back to its base output. No migration, no cleanup. Compatibility Targets Timberborn 1. 0+.
