📋 About This Mod
AlwaysSunny — Lock the Lighting to Permanent Daytime Tired of pausing the game every night just to see what you're building? AlwaysSunny freezes the visual day/night cycle so the map stays bright at all times. Weather mechanics — droughts, badtides, temperate days — still tick normally; only the lighting stage during the "night" window is swapped for the look of your choice. No more squinting through the dark. Your colony looks the same at 3 AM as it does at noon. What it does AlwaysSunny Harmony-patches the day-stage cycle and rewrites any Night transition to the lighting you selected. Sun position, fog, and ambient color follow your chosen override; every other system keeps running on vanilla timing. Features Pick your sky. Swap night for permanent noon, warm sunrise light, softer sunset, or leave vanilla alone. Changes apply instantly — no restart, no reload. Weather is untouched. Droughts and badtides still arrive on schedule. The mod only touches the visual lighting stage, not the underlying hazard scheduling. Save-safe. Nothing is persisted in the save — remove the mod and your world reverts to vanilla lighting immediately. Tiny footprint. One Harmony patch on one method. No new UI, no new buildings, no new systems. Configuration Install ModSettings (by eMka) and AlwaysSunny gains an in-game settings panel. Without it, the mod still works with the default "Day" override — you just can't change the mode. Day — permanent noon (default) Sunrise — warm golden-hour light Sunset — softer evening light Normal — disables the override, restores vanilla day-night Requirements Harmony Optional: ModSettings — needed only to change the lighting mode in-game. Compatibility Built for Timberborn 1. 0+. AlwaysSunny only patches the day-stage visual transition, so it should coexist with anything that doesn't replace the same method. Load order does not matter. My other mods AutoScaffold Fills in platform scaffolding when you place a building over a cliff edge, gap, or rooftop —
