DUNE part 2 of 3, the beaver edition After droving away the worms, you set out a new scout party to look for new areas to buid. After a couple of weeks the scouts saw something far in the dust. ​The scouts didn't find a sanctuary. They found a scar. ​Stretching across the horizon are the Iron Ribs the petrified remains of a creature so massive its fall cracked the very bedrock. This wasn't a recent skirmish, the stone has grown over the bones, and the craters from the ancient bombardment have become permanent features of the wasteland. ​At the center stands a fortress, its stone arches reinforced by weathered wooden scaffolding that looks like it hasn't seen a hammer in a century. It’s a ghost of a fortress, surrounded by the hollow shells of a city that once thought it was safe. ​The air here is thin and dry, carrying only the scent of dust. Deep inside the Bastion’s shadow, pinned to a rotted beam by a rusted bolt, lies a final transmission from a dead era: ​'RUN. WE THOUGHT WE HAD THEM BUT THERE ARE MORE. MUCH MORE. THESE WERE ONLY THE LITTLE ONES. THE BIG ONES ARE COMING. RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK.' ​Looking at the 'Dead worm' whose ribcage now lays next to tallest buildings, a cold realization settled over the party. If the ancients fell with all this stone and steel to protect them... what hope do we have with just wood and water?" Im making 1 more maps that fits this idea.
