This mod delivers a much-needed performance overhaul to the . 243 Polymer Tip in theHunter: Call of the Wild. Previously sidelined due to weak stopping power, this rework transforms the . 243 into a lethal, highly competitive option that comfortably holds its own against heavy-hitters like the . 308 and . 30-06.

Key Changes & Performance Upgrades

• []Bullet Mass Increased (95gr to 125gr): Stepping up from the stock 95-grain load to a heavier 125-grain projectile adds substantial impact energy, allowing the round to retain lethality at longer distances.[/]

  []Superior Penetration: Enhanced tissue and bone penetration ensures reliable hits on vital organs—including double-lung and heart shots—even from sub-optimal shooting angles.[/]

Installation

1. Copy the dropzone folder from chosen mod and place it in the COTW Install folder.

2. Steam\steamapps\common\theHunterCotW\ folder. Make sure "dropzone" folder is inside theHunterCotW folder.

3. Add the following line to CotW's steam launcher option, Mods wont work without these launch options!

 --vfs-fs dropzone --vfs-archive patch_win64 --vfs-archive archives_win64 --vfs-archive dlc_win64 --vfs-fs

In the Epic games launcher, under your Account

Go to settings scroll down

Open the game accordion TheHunter: Call of the wild

Check the last checkbox "Additional Command Line Arguments"

Put in the argument:

--vfs-fs dropzone --vfs-archive patch_win64 --vfs-archive archives_win64 --vfs-archive dlc_win64 --vfs-fs

Not tested on Epic so might not work.
