Wraith II

The old wraith mod has been remade from the ground up, for the latest Subnautica version.

This mod require Nautilus, Vehicle Framework and Aircraftlib.

The batteries are in the wing roots.

The upgrade interface is opened from the back of the engine.

Camera shake can be disabled in the aircraftlib settings.

How to fly:

If you are underwater, make sure the landing gear (wheels) is up (default g key), the 'gear out' warning should disappear

Set the engine to flight mode (default f key), it should say 'MOD FLT' on the right side of the hud

Ensure your nose is horizontal (on the red horizon line)

If you are underwater, make sure you are comfortably below the surface (around 4+ metres depth)

Press accelerate (default w key) until you are at 100% engine rpm

Once you are above 20m/s point your nose around 15 degrees above the horizon, and you should jump out the water

Ensure your aoa doesn't exceed 20 degrees

The Alterra Wraith is a generation 13 single-seat general aviation aircraft, that can also function as a submersible. It is the most advanced GA aircraft ever made, and the first ever to be able to go underwater.

It features:

- Jet engine with water bypass ducts

- Variable airfoil for stability in any fluid

- Retractable landing gear

- AI Aural Support/Warning System

- Heads Up Display

- Onboard oxygen generator

Advice for pilots:

- Low thrust engine mode will allow precise movements when on the ground or underwater

- High thrust engine mode is optimized for flight, and thus cannot redirect thrust sideways for strafing

- Base package is not designed for deep sea use. For that, upgrade modules (sold separately) should be installed

- Top Flight Speed: 106 m/s

- Top Underwater Speed: 21 m/s

- Max Engine Thrust: 110,000 N

- Critical AOA: 20 degrees

- Power: Two replaceable electrical power cells, mounted in each wing
