PMC Revived – Playable Mercenary Corporations with the release of nomads, the bulk of the concept in this mod is now implemented in the DLC, if you want this mod it will still work on the older patch as long as ethics and civics is installed (highly recommend) and you are welcome to edit the code, but frankly the hired guns civic does almost the exact same thing and is much more manageable with the nomad game play style. PMC Revived is a continuation and modernization of the original PMC – Playable Mercenaries mod. The original concept reimagined the Private Military Companies civic so that instead of simply employing mercenaries, your empire or an AI becomes the mercenary company, selling military services and profiting from war. Adds the Corporate Mercenary State civic, introducing PMC-focused jobs provided by buildings, and a council position built around contract warfare and fleet strength. This version aims to revive that idea for modern Stellaris versions while expanding the gameplay around PMC military infrastructure. The mod introduces new mechanics, buildings, and jobs that push Megacorp gameplay toward a fleet-focused private military state for hire rather than a traditional trade empire. The goal is to preserve the spirit of the original mod while updating and expanding it so the mercenary-corporation fantasy remains playable in current versions of Stellaris. mechanics when you have a commercial pact with another empire or share boarders, they may invite you to ANY war they enter, be sure to know your friends. as this will have the same ramifications as entering a normal war.
