Introduction This mod adds a unique star cluster located at the center of the galaxy, featuring a special gateway, perfect for isolation and peaceful development. This mod is also known as: "About the Time I Decided to Build a New Mountain of Crap Instead of Fixing the Old One" How to Use There are currently two ways to unlock the Cluster, and AI will not use them: 1. Set your empire's starting solar system to Galactic Core Cluster , and the cluster will automatically generate at the start of the game. 2. Manually generate the cluster by enabling the Generate Galactic Centre Isolated Cluster option in Policies and Edicts. Please note: For compatibility with some special origins, when using the Galactic Centre Isolated Cluster as your starting solar system, the birthplace of the player's empire is not within the cluster, but in a random location in the galaxy. I’m not skilled enough to resolve compatibility issues with special origins, despite my best efforts. When the Cluster is generated, a special gateway connecting to the cluster will also be created in the player's starting solar system, allowing the player to directly enter the cluster for exploration. All systems in the cluster are initially unexplored, mainly to trigger special events, like the Sea of Consciousness. Solar Systems At the beginning of the game, the mod creates a cluster at the center of the galaxy, containing five solar systems and several abandoned megastructures.
