Ethics Evangelism

A New Diplomatic Stance Think your fellow federation member should lighten up on the whole slavery thing? Want to show the light to your materialist rival? Or at least stir up some trouble amongst their populace? Now, through the wonders of persuasion and/or fearmongering, war is not the only way to spread your ideals. Evangelist Stance You can send envoys to boost your empires ethics inside another empire. Instead of changing relations, your envoy will provide +10% ethics attraction to each of your ethics (if they are set to improve relations), or +15% attraction to your fanatic ethic (if you have one) and +30% Ethics Shift chance (when set to harm relations). You can do both, so you can boost your fanatic ethic in another empire by up to 25% with two envoys (multiple envoys or multiple empires boosting the same ethic however, will not stack). Evangelizing envoys will cost 0. 25 influence, and will not otherwise effect relations. Empires who receive an evangelizing envoy will get a yearly empire modifier that attracts their pops to the ethics of the evangelist empire. Compatibility Can be installed mid save.
