📋 About This Mod

An absurdly large, fast, and powerful engine for small ships? Who wouldn't like it? Same model, three different versions, all suitable for Class A, Class B, and Class C.

Tested on v1. 16. 236

It works well with some limitations added by Free Lanes.

If you enter cruise mode and activate the boost, there comes a point where you stop moving. Bethesda has probably implemented a speed limit to give the planets time to load.

You just have to deactivate the boost, and the ship moves forward again.

In any case, you can activate the boost at cruise speed and deactivate it again, but you can't leave it permanently active if you want your ship to move.

Another change is that you can no longer get as close to celestial bodies as before. You can't fly over the rings of gas giants or get close enough to a star to see its solar flares. Collisions have been added that prevent this, so we can no longer enjoy that spectacle. I'll see if I can do something to reduce these collisions in a future update, but I'm not promising anything.

I'm not a modder, nor do I claim to be, but I started mashing buttons in xEdit and made this for myself.

I thought someone else might enjoy it.

TeAKaI Crazy Engines uses the Slayton SAH-7110 M-class engine as its sole model, alongside all its flips.

It's now available in A, B, and C classes.

I've made the boost infinite and it accelerates up to the maximum speed limit allowed by the game.

Available in three standalone versions, you can use them together or separately.

You don't need any skills to build them; they're available from level 1.

They only cost 1 credit and are available at all shipyards.

I've significantly reduced their mass and increased their takeoff power; with this engine, you shouldn't need to use more than one or two landing gears, even if you build a large ship.

Engine health and electromagnetic resistance have also been drastically increased.

All engines have a base speed of 1,200 m/sec. The main difference between the three versions is the boost acceleration.

Version 1, The Crazy Engine.

The slowest but most playable in my opinion.

The boost has enough acceleration to get you close to a planet's surface from orbit in seconds. You can travel comfortably from one planet to its moons.

If you want to travel from one planet to another, you'll have to be a little patient, but you can. It's not the most suitable for very long distances.

With this version, you'd need many hours, maybe days,
