📋 About This Mod
You know how earth, the moon, and our sun are unique in the universe in that the sun is the perfect size and perfect distance away that it appears to be the same size as the moon? How when we have total solar eclipses, that "diamond ring" effect exists, as far as we know, only in our quaint little corner of the universe?
This mod reduces the size of the sun disk geometry, added in game version 1. 9. 51. 0, to 20% its vanilla size. I always thought suns looked wayyy too big when viewed from planetary surfaces, so this mod fixes that.
I chose to downsize the area of the disk to 20% its original size simply because that's how small it would have to be for Sol to be the same size as Luna when viewed from Earth.
Please install using a mod manager. I personally use and highly recommend Mod Organizer 2.
You can, of course, install this mod manually or with Vortex if either are your preference and you know how.
Not compatible with any other mod that edits Data\Textures\Sky\sundisk_color.dds.
