disclaimer: i did use an app called upscayl to upscale the original crowd face textures (color only). so theyll use more space than the normal oness. maybe more gpu power too, i haven't seen any performance drop playing on ultra w 8gb vram.
disclaimer 2: i am using a bunch of bloom & volumetric lighting edits in my game so if you think the lighting weird or different (hopefully it looks better than vanilla lol) that's the reason!
HELLO! this mod aims to make the crowd a bit more cyberpunky futuristic space bladerunnery cool vibes, but also just make them look less like npcs and more like real people with personalities (makeup is a great way to express personality, epic)
im pretty bad at makeup but i think im getting better as i go so yeah just BEAR with me. ill probably redo some at some point or make different packs in the future so keep your eye on the mod page if you like it.
UNFPRTUNATELY there are literally like 10 crowd face textures and then the weight and clothes and hair are randomized, so i can only add so many makeups and they will be quite repetitive, but i think the pros outweight the cons on this one. cause now the crowd looks so normal in the environment that you don't focus on them for being so out of place. they kinda just vibin in teh settled systems now which is what you want a generic npc to do.
oh also if you didn't already notice the crowd npcs got optimized so hard by todd h*ward that their eyelashes fell out so hopefully someone can add eyelashes to them one day it would really help in the makeup department lol.
anyway, enjoy. they look cool and futuristic.
