Grav Jump Reanimated
-
[] adds some extra grease to the grav jump animation to make it more dynamic and immersive
[
](optionally) removes the fade-to-white screen that occurs just before the black loading screen pops in[](optionally) replaces the fade-to-white with a fade-to-black so that the animation more seamlessly enters the loading screen
[](optionally) makes all grav jumps 1st person
Please see the comparison video for a clearer understanding of the changes! (the comparison video only showcases the "Original" fade to black 1st person version of the mod, jsyk.)
UPDATE SEPTEMBER 16 2025:
Apologies for the delay, an additional 3 options have been added to the files for this mod. YOU WILL ONLY USE ONE AT A TIME.
I've added 3rd person/Vanilla Camera variants (vanilla cam is usually 3rd person but sometimes 1st)
I've added fade to WHITE variants for those who enjoy the FROMSOFT title screen vibes or have the Starfield Engine Fixes white grav jump load screen fix.
Important note about 3rd person/vanilla camera variants: The 3rd person ship animation is so short that the fade in has to happen earlier in the grav jump effect timeline, lest you will see a choppy bug that you don't want to see. So the 3rd person variants will have a bit less grav jumping goodness and a bit earlier of a fade to white or black.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Popular choice with 228 endorsements and over 46k downloads
- Removes the jarring white flash for a smoother transition
- First-person option adds immersion for those who prefer it
⚠️ Cons
- No compatibility notes for other visual mods or game updates
- Limited to Grav Jump animation tweaks—not a comprehensive visual overhaul
For Starfield players who find the Grav Jump white flash annoying and want a cleaner transition. Also for those who want a more immersive first-person perspective during jumps. Skip if you're looking for major visual overhauls or gameplay changes—this is a focused cosmetic tweak.
