Flora Redone - MonstrrMagic Texture Series

Retexture of all Flora in Starfield, on all planets. Includes Trees, Shrubs, Flowers, Grass, Fungus, and other Plants. Does not include strange alien features (AKA Xophile), which I will be releasing separately. Many plants have a huge improvement over vanilla, I was very pleased with the results on this one.

Original textures were mostly 1K with some 512, 256, and a few in 2K resolution. Now you have 4K and 2K resolution options. All options should offer improvement over the originals, to varying degrees.

There's a version with lower resolution B&W maps. Starfield uses many different types of B&W Texture Maps, including Ambient Occlusion, Opacity, Height, Roughness, Metallic, Mask, Emissive, and Transmissive.

I have upscaled the textures using chaiNNer and AI-generated ESRGAN models with full mipmaps. Version 3 BA2 archives created with BA2 Upgrader.

INSTALLATION

BA2v3 ARCHIVES (Recommended)

Put the BA2 file directly into the game directory (Starfield/Data), and you will also need to add the BA2 archive name to the ini file at My Games\Starfield\StarfieldCustom.ini, or Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield\Starfield.ini

Look for the section and at the bottom (under sResourceIndexFileList=Starfield) post the archive name for the file that you are using.

Archive names are:

Flora Redone 4K-2K.ba2

Flora Redone 2K.ba2

LOOSE FILES

Vortex/MO2 Install: this mod should load directly from the game directory

Manual Install: Unzip the mod, then copy the data folder and paste it into Documents/My Games/Starfield, making sure that you also have the appropriate ini edits (uploaded here)
