📋 About This Mod
Adds new game settings to customise the timescale, letting you set it to any value from 1 to 15. Starfield actually has two timescales, one for on the ground (default 15) and one for in space (default 5), so this mod allows both to be set independently. When you change these settings they will not take effect until you load a new area (go through any door with a loading screen, fast travel or grav jump) but they will persist on your save until you change them again. Requires Cassiopeia Script Extender. Shout out to scrivener07 and DJLegends for help with Papyrus scripting!
Install with your preferred mod manager. Safe to install at any time. To uninstall, open the console and enter "help TCB_ConfigurableTimescaleQuest" to get the Form ID of the quest that controls the settings. Then enter "setstage FORMID 100", replacing FORMID with the one from the console. This resets the timescale back to default and cleans up the quest to avoid orphaned scripts. You'll get a notification if it's worked, telling you to make a clean save, exit the game and deactivate the plugin.
Configurable Timescale lets you adjust the game's timescale directly through in-game menus, offering a simple way to control time flow. With 178 endorsements and over 64,000 downloads, it's a popular quality-of-life tool for players who want to tweak day/night cycles without editing config files.
