📋 About This Mod
2024 January 28 - I may still update occasionally, but have no further plans with any of my mods except Books Revamped, Better NPCs, Starlit - A Starfield Mod List, and a fourth unnamed project, so you have my explicit permission to do what you want with this one.
A conversion of my Better Death Physics - CCR mod.
Applies more realistic physics (compared to Bethesda's standards) to getting shot or exploded. This applies to both player and NPCs and Includes collision for dead creatures, critters, robots, and people.
This does not touch animations, it adjusts some game settings so you ragdoll more naturally when you run out of health because you accidentally tossed a grenade in a crowded market when you meant to pull up your surface map, but your G key is also mapped to your throwable items and now everyone is mad at you.
Compatible with anything that doesn't change those game values. CCR mods will always take priority.
If you don't know how to install mods properly, I am begging you, go watch a couple videos before downloading this or any other mods. There are so many resources available to you and smarter people than me have already explained it.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust with 989 endorsements and 192k downloads.
- Makes every kill feel weighty—bodies react to gunfire and explosions realistically.
- Dead body collision means corpses no longer clip through floors or walls, adding immersion.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated June 2024—may not be compatible with the latest Fallout 4 next-gen update.
- Potential performance impact on low-end systems due to extra physics calculations.
For Fallout 4 players who want more visceral combat feedback and hate seeing corpses clip through geometry. If you're into immersion and don't mind a bit of extra physics, this is for you. Skip if you prefer stable performance over fancy ragdolls.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're on PC, use a mod manager like Vortex or Mod Organizer 2 to install—it's drag-and-drop.
- Check if you have any other physics or ragdoll mods that might conflict; load order matters in Fallout 4.
- For console players, this mod may not be available—verify before downloading.
