📋 About This Mod
Original Artifact textures were all in 1K resolution and not the greatest. Now you have 4K and 2K resolution options, with some options having black and white texture maps in half resolution. All options should offer improvement over the originals.
The LITE v1. 0 only includes textures for the animated artifacts as found in the Lodge. Full v2. 0 includes all artifacts in the entire game/questline.
I have upscaled them using chaiNNer and AI-generated ESRGAN models with full mipmaps. I have also downscaled the textures to provide a variety of resolution options. Version 3 BA2 archives created with BA2 Upgrader.
INSTALLATION
BA2v3 ARCHIVES (Recommended)
Put the BA2 file directly into the game directory, and you will also need to add the BA2 archive name to the ini file at My Games\Starfield\StarfieldCustom.ini, or Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield\Starfield.ini
Look for the section and underneath it post the archive name for the file that you are using.
Archive names are:

Artifacts Redone 2K.ba2
LOOSE FILES
Vortex/MO2 Install: this mod should load directly from the game directory
Manual Install: Unzip the mod, then copy the data folder and paste it into Documents/My Games/Starfield, making sure that you also have the appropriate ini edits (uploaded here)

That is a lot more difficult than you might think. I'm going to do that any chance I can but with moving objects it's just not possible. As soon as nifskope is updated or there's another reliable way to open mesh files then I will be very excited to post comparison shots of the 3d models.
