Space Haven - Bigger Station

EXPERIMENTAL: This mod is early / experimental. Expect rough edges; backup saves recommended. v1. 0. 11: Hangar approach pathing fix - extends the hangar approach radius so miners change altitude near the rim instead of looping under the rock. Addresses pathing death loops that were affecting players. No new save required; after this update the issue should be gone. KNOWN ISSUE: The first time you open a gas overlay (CO2, etc.) the game may freeze for about 30-60 seconds while it builds the overlay for the larger asteroid. Wait it out - do not force-close. After that first load it should be fine. Makes the Asteroid base Station start much larger: bigger home asteroid, bigger tactical map, and richer mining around you. The starter base buildings stay vanilla. How to start (Asteroid base): 1. Subscribe to Space Haven Mod Loader and this mod 2. Launch Space Haven through the Modloader (not vanilla Play) 3. Enable "Space Haven - Bigger Station" and clear QuickLaunch cache after updates 4. New Game - Station - Asteroid base - pick a difficulty - Start What it changes: - Home asteroid platform: 336x336 (vanilla 84x84, about 4x) - Tactical map: 768x768 (vanilla 382) - Plentiful surface rocks/salvage in a mid-band on the landmass (not on the base, not on the rim) - 20+ claim-area stakes load first, salvageables second, mineable rocks last - More mineable asteroid fields with full ore variety and about 10x yields - About 20 derelict sites in the station system, plus claimables and derelicts on the starting map with enemies aboard - Starter base layout remains the original prefab (centered on the bigger rock) - Miner hangar return uses a scaled approach radius (half rock size, min 100) so craft change altitude near the rim instead of looping under the rock Only affects Asteroid base Station starts. Requires Space Haven Mod Loader. Clear QuickLaunch cache after updates.
