📋 About This Mod

True Light

This is an extensive, modern lighting mod using po3's powerful Light Placer. Due to Light Limit Fix this allows modders to attach real bulbs to every candle in the game: almost every single thing I could think of that would make sense to emit light now does.

True Light covers both interiors and (optionally) exteriors. It attaches bulbs based on .nifs, so as long as you're not using custom named meshes it will attach bulbs to everything written in the provided json. Some mods that have custom meshes may be supported.

Bulbs have been added to all braziers, campfires, indoor firepits, lanterns, torches, chandeliers. Support for more objects is handled by CS Light which is the perfect pairing for True Light.

With the 3. 0 update True Light also is specifically designed to be used with Window Shadows Ultimate and depends on Ambient Templates for Lighting Mods (ATLM) for the templates and imagespaces. This makes True Light a pure Lighting mod.

The way True Light is designed makes it very mod friendly, as most modded interiors work out of the box, and most others just need to be added to the blacklist.

Requirements

This mod is not compatible with ENB or other lighting mods, if you're having issues remove anything like that first before reporting.

With the release of CS 1. 4; ENB Particle Lights are no longer supported by CS, thus it is also not supported by True Light.

Synthesis patching is not necessary anymore with True Light 3. 0.
