The Marrying Kind - Ceeli Renewal Edition

This is the start of a series of characters I've made that are NOT followers. They are just meant to be new characters added to the game that are potential matrimony candidates...if you meet their strict criteria for selecting an eligible partner. Let's be real here - ever walk up to some person with your bling on, and have them want to tap you on the spot? You have? Well, aren't you special. The rest of us aren't so lucky.

Like in RL, you may be frustrated that your advances don't go anywhere. Because MAYBE THEY JUST AREN'T INTERESTED IN BEING IN A ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU. Sometimes it sucks to be you. Maybe you should try being somebody different (or just be a big fat cheater, and peak under the hood of the quest, you pathetic tosser).

Each character has a story, that will reveal itself to you, or not (depending on the sexual, racial, and political biases that they may or may not have), through a brief intro dialogue. I was inspired by mods like Interesting NPCs, but due to having to use cut-and paste vanilla dialogue, I can't get anywhere NEAR the depth that mods like that have. So don't get really high expectations. Or, more accurately, anything above LOW expectations.

About The Mod

Say hello to Ceeli, a former Redguard soldier who rose through the Legion ranks into senior leadership positions. After retirement with high honors, she is now part of that shadowy group that controls the East Empire Company, on behalf of The Emperor. She has a commanding voice and presence, an attractive visage, and keeps a busy schedule.

Mod Features

- Cheap supermarket romance novel quality dialogue (You know - cringe-worthy 50 Shades stuff)

- The thrill of victory, or the agony of defeat (in love)

- A bed in Solitude to rest your tired bones

Technical Stuff

- Renewal Edition has a high poly head

- Uses YOUR installed body type/preference

- Pick compatible textures for Ceeli by using a FOMOD installer

- Mod is archived (compressed bsa format) to keep the mod footprint low

- Her home can clash, sometimes catastrophically, with mods that alter the docks area of Solitude. Use the lightweight version if you have a conflict

- To be on the safe side, make a save point BEFORE installing this mod (due to the potential conflicts mentioned above)

- The home is a modified version of Harborside. If you already use it, disable the esp

- If you do manage to wed Ceeli, when you choose to live with her, you get the Lover's Comfort buff from her bed

- There is a hug animation at some point. It can fail if your positioning isn't spot on. Because Skyrim

- Never, ever, open up a mod like this in the CK. Any save you make will generate new (very ugly) facegen files. Use xEdit. Seriously.

- esp is flagged as esl (espfe)
