📋 About This Mod

A standalone tool for Skyrim Special Edition / Anniversary Edition that merges the separately-generated output plugins of four sibling landscape/reference fixer tools into one final plugin, with a real field-aware merge this is not a blind

Patch Foreman

Part Five - The Final Tool of the Automatic Landscape Project

A standalone finalizer tool for Skyrim SE / AE that merges the outputs of the 4 landscape repair tools into one single patch - with a real field-aware merge, not a blind "last one wins" overwrite.

Series Parts 1 ~ 5

This tool requires the output from the first 4. Optionally also works with Snow Fixer by Cl3mus.

What Is This?

If you run more than one of the first 4 tools, their output ESPs can overlap on the same records:

  • []Landscape height: Seam Fixer and Road Mask Merger can both touch the same cell for different reasons.[/]

[]Landscape texture layers: Road Mask Merger and Texture Fixer can both add new texture layers to the same cell.[/]

If you just load all 4 ESPs at once, whichever loads last silently discards the other's work on any cell they both touched.

Patch Foreman merges them properly:

  • []If only one tool touched a cell, it forwards it verbatim.[/]

[]If multiple tools touched it, it takes height from whichever edit is more specific and unions the texture layers from every contributing tool (respecting the game's 7-layer-per-quadrant cap).[/]

[]It then runs an automatic re-verify pass - it re-runs Seam Fixer, Texture Fixer, and Floating Object Fixer detection logic once on your original load order, and once with the merged plugin on top, and reports if anything got worse (a real regression).[/]

[]It auto-checks if the merged plugin qualifies for ESL flag and flags it if it does - which it should almost every run.[/]

    The result is one plugin:

PatchForeman.esp that replaces the other 4.

    Why Use It?

    • []Saves ESP slots - one patch instead of four.[/]

      []esp is set to esl[/]

[]No more "last plugin wins" conflict between my own tools.[/]

[]Built-in audit - tells you if the merge caused a regression instead of just saying success.[/]

[]Safe - it never edits your source mods, only reads their output patches. You can remove it anytime.[/]

    What It Doesn't Do Yet

    • []No ESL FormID compacting - if it ever exceeds the ESL range, it reports why instead of trying to fix it.[/]

[]No unified launcher yet - you still need to run the 4 sibling tools yourself first. Patch Foreman only merges their outputs.[/]

[]Full Snow Fixer merge is the goal for a future update to save even more space. For now, if you use Snow Fixer: either copy Snow Fixer's assets over to the Patch Foreman output, or hide the SnowFixer.esp after merging if you have merged its data.[/]

    Requirements

    • []Windows 10 / 11[/]

      []Skyrim SE / AE[/]

[]Mod Organizer 2 (Vortex/Direct not wired up yet)[/]

[]The output plugins from the first 4 tools already generated and active in your load order[/]

[]For full floating-object collision awareness in the re-verify pass: Python 3 on your PATH (optional - without it, it gracefully falls back to heightmap-only detection)[/]

The download is self-contained, nothing else to install.

    For Version 0. 2. 4 and later:

    1. Install it like any other mod (MO2: as a regular mod; Vortex: extract into a mod folder).

    2. Launch it from your mod manager's tool list.

    3. Pick your game (SE or LE), point it at your game folder (and MO2 instance/profile if used), and choose an empty, dedicated              output folder.

    4. Disable all other outputs.

    Landscape Seam Fixer

    Floating Object Fixer

Snow Fixer (will move built assets to the Foreman's Folder)
