Megalania (Prehistoric Content Series) SE-AE

Megalania is a large species of Monitor Lizard that can be found in Blackmarsh, Morrowind, and Elsweyr. Their large size allows them to tolerate colder regions such as Skyrim due to gigantothermy. They spend most of their time scavenging for carcasses in Eastmarch, but they will also hunt for prey when the opportunity arises.

They use their serrated teeth and sharp claws to down their prey through blood loss, as well as using their venom to slowly weaken them. It's advisable for hunters/travelers who travel through Megalania territory to carry cure poison potions and wear heavy or full armor to reduce the chances of being poisoned from their bites.

The venom is highly valuable and sought after by assassins due to its lethality. - One new creature: Megalania.
