Karura's Companions Refined

(Update January 18th, 2025--All NPCs are now using vanilla race, which should mean better compatibility with EasyNPC. Refined body textures and some minor changes.)

As it says on the tin. This overhauls the Companions members (Farkas, Vilkas, Skjor, Aela, Ria, Njada, Athis, Torvar, Kodlak) using Charmers of the Reach assets. All textures are standalone, while body mesh uses whatever default body you have installed.

Keep in mind the tag "personal". You, person reading this, might not like this and that and that's fine, there's plenty of other overhauls on Nexus. Unless it's crashing or texture seam problems, don't ask me to change stuff. This is just something I do for my own game that I decided to share on Nexus for cataloguing and backup purposes.

Best installed on a new game. I changed outfit records and weight--two things that don't play nice when changed on an existing save game.

Technical details/known issues/do people even read mod descriptions etc etc:

• []During the initial brawl scene when you enter Jorrvaskr, Athis might pull out a dagger for a while and whack Njada with it--just a minor glitch. The brawl proceeds as normal otherwise.

  []All NPCs (except Kodlak) got additional perks and stat boosts. Athis and Ria are now rogues, Farkas is now a two-handed warrior and not a blacksmith. Aela wears unplayable light ancient nord armor. Level cap removed.

• I had a bizarre glitch in-game with this mod and (a personally SE-converted) ESF-Companions installed at the same time--Aela and Farkas' lip sync don't work?? for some reason?? I even made a personal patch for ESF and the problem still persists. So I guess that's another incompatibility. Dunno whats up with that.
