GeoNir

I have 3K+ hours (on Steam alone) for this game. In none of my playthroughs I used fast travel, because I find just strolling around in the wilderness is a pleasurable and relaxing experience, to take in the sights and sounds. This mod is for the folks that share that love: it's a minigame where you have to find locations shown to you. Nir in the ancient dragon tongue means "hunt", you're going on a location hunt Dragonborn!

How to start

You will have a new lesser power called Start GeoNir, activating it starts the minigame, and shows you the first location. Your task then, is to go in the world and reach that place. When you get there, you'll see notifications about it and the next location unlocks, you can recast that same power to see the next location you have to find.

• []Mainland: has 31 locations in total for you to find, all in the mainland of Skyrim (no Solstheim) and no interiors. These are not random-ass rocks or trees, I picked locations that myself would have recognized at first glance.[/]

  I got stuck!

  You have options if a particular location eludes you. The locations have an optional hint to help guide you find it, this can be accessed via the same lesser power. The hints reference nearby locations, NPCs, or some quest / dialog that happens there.

  Also you can skip a location entirely if you're not interested in finding it, you can move on to the next one.

  Winning a GeoNir game will present you with a list of rewards. The reward for Mainland is 4 new treasure maps.

  Also there are new achievements added through the power of Achievement Injector mod.

    Compatibility

    Should be compatible with everything, but mods that drastically alter locations (specially elevation) could potentially make certain spots unreachable.
